Chelsea 2-1 Liverpool: Premier League Player Ratings
Chelsea
Petr Cech: Parried Allen effort at 2-1 up, had a Suarez volley straight down his throat and turned behind from Johnson later in the second half. 6/10. Branislav Ivanovic: Suarez header deflected off him for Skrtel's goal. Subbed on half an hour with a foot injury. Rating N/A. Gary Cahill: Headed a Lampard free kick wide at 1-0. Great last-ditch tackle on Allen at 1-1, but later booked for lunge on Suarez. 5.5/10. John Terry: Massive tackle on Suarez got a cheer from Stamford Bridge crowd on Blues captain's 600th game for the club. Booked for leading with his arm on Allen early in second half though. 5.5/10. Cesar Azpilicueta: Moved back to his natural side when Ivanovic injured. Started the move that led to Eto'o goal. Another good display in both fullback berths. 6/10. David Luiz: Brazilian booked for pulling back Allen; that means a ban as it was his fifth of the campaign. Mourinho might want to consider playing Luiz here more often as he prefers more solid defenders. 5.5/10. Frank Lampard: Drew a super save from Mignolet after 11 minutes. Picked up a thigh strain in the first half and subbed at the break. 6/10. Eden Hazard: Our man of the match. Worked Mignolet at 1-0 down and went one better a few minutes later with clinical finish after Sakho blocked Oscar's shot and the ball fell straight to him. Set Eto'o away for chance at 2-1 up. 7/10.
