Chelsea 2-1 Liverpool: Premier League Player Ratings
Liverpool
Simon Mignolet: Saved from Hazard and then brilliantly from Lampard one-handed. Unable to keep out super Hazard finish and low Eto'o effort at close quarters, but denied Chelsea striker on near post in second half. 6/10. Glen Johnson: Goal-line clearance after Mignolet had saved Hazard effort and Skrtel almost put rebound in own net at 1-0. Made Cech tip around the post at 2-1. Booked and subbed. 6/10. Martin Skrtel: Fired in opening goal from close range and then nearly put through his own net. Eto'o got across him to score the second Chelsea goal. Good at set pieces in both boxes. 5.5/10. Mamadou Sakho: Blocked Oscar's shot, but rebound fell straight to Hazard and Chelsea equalized. Failed to stop Oscar from making Eto'o goal. Headed against angle of post and bar second half with a header. Limped off before the end with hamstring problem. Expecting Agger to move into the middle for next match. 4.5/10. Daniel Agger: Deputized at left back when many thought he would play centre half. He certainly might in next outing. Did enough, but Rodgers must return the Dane to his natural position after successive losses. 5/10. Joe Allen: Worked Cech late in first half and drew fouls from Blues players. Limped off after taking one challenge too many on the hour. 5/10. Click next for more Liverpool player ratings.
