As previously stated, Beinitez had many great years at Anfield. And he became a club hero quickly due to his success in the Champions League. He completely and utterly won over the Kop and that is something he was abundantly happy with. So it is hard to see why he would jeopardize this to go to one of the Red's bitter rivals. Liverpool's historic wins over Chelsea in Europe may not feel the same for the fans now that the man who engineered them now manages the other team. It will certainly interesting to see how Anfield responds to Benitez when he arrives with his new side in April.
