Chelsea: 5 Reasons Jose Mourinho's Return Would Lead To Disaster

1. Zero Job Security

You'd think a manager with as impressive a CV as Jose Mourinho wouldn't have to be worrying about job security, but if he were to return to Chelsea for a second spell in charge, he would constantly be looking over his shoulder. Eight managers in nine years - that's one of the most worrying statistics in football at present and Chelsea's revolving-door policy with their managers is quite frankly embarrassing. Is it really any surprise that former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola snubbed the opportunity to take over at Stamford Bridge? Why would he want to take a job that has correctly been dubbed a poisoned chalice? Why would anyone? The Chelsea job is a reputation-destroyer, decent managers go in, and they are churned back out again regardless of their successes. Avram Grant - took Chelsea to the Champions League final - sacked. Roberto Di Matteo - won the Champions League and FA Cup - sacked. There is zero job security for anyone who takes over at Stamford Bridge and that's precisely why Mourinho should stay well clear. What do you think? Should Mourinho return? Let us know in the comment section, below.
