1. Eden Hazard
What a talent! Eden Hazard arrived in London on a wave of anticipation last season and failed to disappoint. The 22 year-old Belgian international was an instant success at Stamford Bridge with nine goals and eleven assists after signing from French side Lille for a reported £24million. He is blessed with dazzling speed and agility as well as comfort on the ball, which make him a nightmare for defenders. Hazard is at the forefront of the current "Belgian Revolution" in the English game being just one of a host of talented Belgian players in England. One would argue though that Hazard stands out above the rest. His first season in the English Premier League was a resounding success and he is bound to develop into a phenomenal midfielder in the 2013/14 season. Hazard revealed to the
Daily Star that Mourinho has told him in depth how great a player he can be. Hazard said:
"To me, he told me to be ambitious with my game, to try things and that, if I do that, I can do something special this year. I told him I wanted to do myself justice, to do as well as I can, and that is all he wants to see from all of us. I hope it will end up being productive. His arrival is important certainly but it wont be him who actually goes out there and wins the title"
Eden Hazard is a proven performer on the main stage and can attest to being one of the only guaranteed starters for Mourinho's Chelsea for the 2013/14 campaign. He is about to embark on his second full season in England and, for mine, will be the number one youngster on Chelsea's books to shine this season.
