Chelsea Transfers - 10 Strikers To Fire The Blues To Title Glory In 2015
4. Radamel Falcao
Earlier this year, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho hinted at a summer move for Randamel Falcao by sensationally claiming the striker is "too good" for current club Monaco. Falcao only joined the French club last summer from Atletico Madrid, where he scored 70 goals in 91 overall appearances, but Mourinho believes it was a bad career move. The Special One recently said:
"I don't have Falcao but Falcao doesn't have a club. Who wants to play in front of 3,000 supporters? If I was one day to go to Monaco it would be the end."
Indeed, there have been reports that Falcao is unhappy at Monaco and wants to quit the Ligue 1 side after just a year, due to France's tough tax laws limiting his earning potential. Falcao damaged anterior cruciate ligaments in his knee earlier this year and has not played for Monaco since, though he is tipped to recover for the World Cup, where an impressive tournament for Columbia could see Chelsea make a bid for the goal machine.
