Chelsea Transfers - 10 Strikers To Fire The Blues To Title Glory In 2015

5. Jackson Martinez

Jackson Martinez has emerged as one of the most coveted players in European football of late with his 20 league goals in 30 appearances for Porto last season resulting in interest from a series of Premier League sides. Man Utd, Arsenal, Spurs and Chelsea are all keen in the 27-year-old, who is out of contract at Porto this summer and could leave for nothing. Porto are keen to sell now in order to rake in a profit but insist any interested parties must first match the striker's £32 million release clause, with both Roma and Napoli also monitoring the situation. Crucially, however, Martinez is thought to prefer a move to the Premier League rather than Serie A, believing the English league to be the stronger of the two competitions, handing Chelsea a big advantage. Martinez has been described as "an out-and-out goalscorer, a front-to-goal centre-forward who can finish off both feet" and, with 60 goals in 91 total appearances for Porto to date, could be the answer to Jose Mourinho's striking dilemma.
