4. Fernando Llorente
"El Rey Leon" could be an alternative to "El Tigre" for Chelsea. Fernando Llorente also had a spectacular season last time out scoring 29 goals and guiding a young Bilbao side to the Copa del Rey and Europa League finals. However the Basque forward has fallen out with coach Marcelo Bielsa and with his contract expiring at the end of the season Bilbao would favour a cheap January sale instead of losing him for nothing in the summer. When questioned on his future Llorente admitted "I really like the Premier League and I've mentioned on more than one occasion that it's a league which appeals to me a lot... It's one good option in terms of my future." (source -
telegraph) Llorente certainly seems a good fit for the physicality of the Premier League with his height and strength invaluable assets. However, Llorente might not fit into the new style of football Abramovich wants Chelsea to play, which is more about tiki taka passing than the long balls to a target man which they utilised last season with Didier Drogba. There is also stiff competition in the form of Manchester City, Spurs, Arsenal and Juventus.
