Tomas Kalas is another youngster who has spent more time out on loan than with his parent club. Since signing for Chelsea in 2010 at just 15 years old, Kalas has gone on to make just four first team appearances, yet has been loaned out to Sigma Olomouc (the club that sold him to Chelsea in the first place), Vitesse Arnhem, FC Koln, Middlesbrough, and Fulham.

The Czech's time with Fulham will be what interests Frank Lampard the most, as he was an integral part of the team last season that not only earned promotion to the Premier League, but actually stopped Derby in the process. Not only would Kalas bring this experience to The Rams, he is still very young with a lot of potential.

At 25 years old, the Chelsea centre back will inject some much needed youth into an aging defensive line consisting of 31 year old Richard Keogh and 33 year old Curtis Davies.
