last summer but a bid for the Argentine winger failed to come to fruition. The 25-year old is thought to be valued at a hefty £35 million but was most impressive against Manchester United in each leg of Real Madrid's Champions League last-16 encounter. Di Maria is the sort of 'flair player' Roman Abramovich covets for his Chelsea side and could link up nicely with the nimble Oscar and Eden Hazard. The winger fell out with Real last year over the terms of his contract and could be set for a move to the Premier League after apparently
being offered to Manchester United last month following a difficult season at the Bernabeu. It is thought his agents are "sounding out interest" among Premier League clubs, opening the door for a potential move to Chelsea.
