3. Andre Schurrle

At just 22, Bayer Leverkusen forward Andre Schurrle is considered one of the most exciting young talents in European football. Chelsea came close to signing the German forward last season in an £18 million deal but much like the move for Edinson Cavani, nothing came of it. The former Mainz player came to prominence in the 2010/11 season when he scored fifteen goals, and he has already scored seven so far this season. The versatile youngster can play either up front or on the wing, which would provide Rafael Benitez with several attacking options, though his market value is likely set to be higher than the £18 million the Blues were quoted last year.
