2. Hulk

The Zenit St Petersburg striker has been a long-standing transfer target for Chelsea, who came close to signing the Brazilian from Porto last summer before he moved to Russia. The prodigious forward, who can also play in wide areas, scored 78 times in 169 overall appearances in Portugal prior to leaving the club last year. He even
recently said of Chelsea's interest:
"If I said there wasn't anything in it, I would be lying."
Although Hulk only joined Zenit for £42 million last September, Blues' owner Abramovich has close connections with the Russian club. Zenit owners Gazprom paid Abramovich and his business partner £6.5 billion for their stake in the Sibneft oil company, and Chelsea are hoping to use these close connections to force through a deal. Like Sneijder, Mourinho knows all about the 26-year-old from his time in Portugal with Vitoria from 2004-06 and Porto, between 2008-12.
