The Premier League outfit have however thus far refused to meet Napoli's £53 million release clause, though their current bid of £42 million remains the largest on the table so far. The Italians are holding out for the full value of their prized asset's release clause, though
speculation that it expires next month could mean the Blues may still land the forward for a reduced fee.
