3. Edin Dzeko
Linked with many Premier League clubs,
including Chelsea before his move to the Etihad, Djeko has supposedly been told he will be allowed to leave in the summer
so City can fund a mega-bucks move for Napoli Striker Edinson Cavani. If this is the case Chelsea would be well within their right to re-new their interest in the big Bosnian international: he is one of the most clinical strikers in the Premier League, and has shown this time and time again by coming off the bench to win games for City. He is second only to Robin Van Persie in the Premier League's chances to goals ratio this season, and somewhat unthinkably is quite often on the bench at City, behind both Tevez and Aguero. If he was to sign for Chelsea, he could reasonably expect to be the first choice striker, and imagine what that would do for his confidence? If the rumours are true and he is allowed to leave the Champions at the end of the season, and is available at a cut price, I don't see any reason why Chelsea would not renew their interest in him.
