5. Arsenal
Another London team, another side that could do with Lampards goals and, more importantly, his experience. Arsenal have been the definition of inconsistent, thrashing Newcastle 7-3 one minute then escaping St Marys with a 1-1 draw against Southampton. Again, Lampard would not be the ideal signing a defensive midfielder, full back and winger are more urgently needed but undoubtedly the Gunners would be stronger with Lampard in their side. It is not just his skills on the pitch that would be useful but also his mentality and professionalism off it. For a while, ever since Henry and Vieira left the club, there has been a lack of leadership. When the going gets tough, Arsenal turn to jelly. Lampard would set a great example for the likes of Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey and others to follow.
