The German midfielder only joined Chelsea last summer but has found himself on the fringes this season and has struggled to make an impact. He has only made one Premier League start this campaign. The Blues have now been directly approached by CSKA Moscow regarding a loan move after the Russian clubs chairman contacted Roman Abramovich about taking Marin on loan until the end of the season.
Likelihood? Marin has barely featured for Chelsea this season. A temporary move away from the club would provide him with more game time and give him the opportunity to rediscover the form that persuaded the Blues to sign him in the first place.
