Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini signed Alvaro Negredo this summer from La Liga side Sevilla, and the Spaniard has taken little time announcing himself to the Premier League. Negredo and Aguero have formed a devastating partnership in the top-flight so far this season - with their most notable performance coming in the 4-1 demolition of fierce title rivals Manchester United. However, moments have magic from the pair of them have also been showcased during the 7-0 thrashing of Norwich City last weekend - with both Negredo and Aguero scoring past the Canaries. Pellegrini looks likely to continue with the pair this season so long as their good form continues as they balance each other out perfectly. Negredo and Aguero often swap roles during the game and inter-change positions to work intricate attacking moves. Both players can drop in and bring others into play, while they can also both play on the shoulder. Aguero and Negredo are always looking for each other on the pitch, and seem to know where the other is at all times. The partnership is certainly getting the best from Aguero this season. The Argentine has been in the form of his life, and is showing no signs of stopping. He's scored eight league goals this campaign, while Alvaro Negredo has netted four times. The pair have 20 goals between them in all competitions, and are expected to greatly better that tally as the weeks go on.
