Which Club Has The Best Strike-Partnership In The Premier League?

Manchester United - Wayne Rooney (5) & Robin Van Persie (6)

While Van Persie was undoubtedly the better performer out of the pair last season, there's been a reverse in fortunes this campaign. But in recent weeks both Rooney and Van Persie have shown signs of a glistening partnership. In the side's last game against Fulham, they both scored from the other's assist, and put in respective performance worthy of lauding. Robin Van Persie has six league goals this campaign, and Wayne Rooney has five. The pair have amassed 16 in all competitions so far. Rooney has assisted four of Van Persie's league goals already, which shows just how well the pair have been linking up on the pitch. Rooney drops in deep to collect the ball, and will always find Van Persie waiting in space to get on the end of any through ball fed into him. Van Persie looks to be back to his best form, while Rooney is playing like a man possessed for United of late. Both are scoring and creating goals in most games they're playing in, and look to be enjoying their football more so than ever. Van Persie, like Rooney, will run the channels on occasion, and likes to play clever one-touch football with the Englishman - often to great effect. Should they continue in the same vein for the remainder of the campaign, they could well be named the best Premier League partnership potentially of all time.
