Club-by-Club Premier League Record Appearance Makers

18. Burnley - Wade Elliot (Tied with Tyrone Mears, 38)

38 isn't very many appearances at all, yet it's still enough to make Wade Elliot and Tyrone Mears Burnley's record-appearance holders. The Clarets have only graced the Premier League twice - with this season marking their second foray into England's top tier since their relegation in 2010. Both Elliot and Mears starred in their side's famous 1-0 win over Manchester United at Turf Moor in 2009 - one of the few highlights of Burnley's season that term.

17. Chelsea - Frank Lampard (429)

Frank Lampard hasn't spent his entire career at Chelsea although sometimes it feels like he has. He joined from West Ham United in 2001 (and even played for Swansea on loan) and has gone on to become one of the club's all-time greats after making nearly 430 Premier League appearances. During that spell he broke Bobby Tambling's record as the Blues' all-time highhest goalscorer and won numerous trophies, including four FA Cups, the Premiership and the Champions League. He joined New York City FC on loan this summer but has joined Chelsea's rivals Manchester City on loan until the New Year.
