Crystal Palace Transfer News: Jimmy Kebe And Jack Hunt Signings Completed

Jimmy Kebe Crystal Palace have made two late transfer window signings, reports the BBC. Palace have announced the signing of winger Jimmy Kebe from Reading on a 3-year deal. The fee for the 29-year-old Mali international was undisclosed, but it is believed to be in the region of £750,000. Kebe hasn't played for Reading since March, but he's expected to slot straight onto the wing, replacing he now-departed Wilfried Zaha, who joined Manchester United at the start of the summer. Kebe said of the move;
It's a big move for me. I didn't know if I was going to be able to move in this transfer window but getting back to the Premier League was my main target. I'm very excited about it. I talked to the manager and you can see how excited he is and I'm ready for the challenge.
Palace also revealed they have purchased Huddersfield Town full-back Jack Hunt. The 22-year-old defender has made 104 league appearances for the Terriers, but has only made 2 appearances so far this season in anticipation of a move. He was quoted on Twitter as saying;
Absolutely delighted to have signed for Crystal Palace. New challenge in my life and can't wait to get started
Crystal Palace have made 11 signings this summer since rising from the Championship, including a reported £4.5 million purchase of Dwight Gayle, a club record.
