4. Kamil Glik
Another Pole England fans will be familiar with is central defender Kamil Glik. The last time these sides met,
the match was abandoned on a rain-sodden evening in Warsaw, much to the embarrassment of FIFA, who inexplicably left the stadium's roof open despite a forecast of heavy rain. And things didn't get much better for England a day later when the game finally got underway. Despite Wayne Rooney opening the scoring, the Three Lions were eventually pegged back by a goal from Glik, tying the match at 1-1 and ultimately leading to tomorrow's tense affair. Glik thumped in a powerful header that day and the centre-back will once more be a menacing threat from set-pieces on Tuesday, which is worrying given goalkeeper Joe Hart's worrying run of recent ill-form. Not only that, but along with Boruc, the no-nonsense centre-half will be looking to keep a clean sheet that could prove disastrous to England's chances.
