England vs Poland: 5 Reasons Three Lions Can Look Forward To Must-Win Game

4. Marauding Full Backs

With Ashley Cole still injured and Kyle Walker suspended, Leighton Baines and Glen Johnson look set to play at full-back come Tuesday evening. Both are renowned for their attacking exploits and will be key from the outset as England go searching for an early goal. Baines deputised superbly against Montenegro, spending more time in the opposition€™s half than his own and constantly giving his side an attacking option. If Poland set up defensively from the off, as many sides visiting Wembley do, these extra options on either flank could be crucial. The lack of Piszczek at right-back will also do Baines favours with a chance to get at Grzegorz Wojtkowiak, his inferior understudy. Johnson has undoubted attacking qualities of his own and should be up against the tall Kamil Glik, the centre-half slightly out of his comfort zone at left-back. England must expose Poland€™s weakness at full-back, whilst using their strengths in the same position, in search of goals.
