Since his move to Chelsea, Cahills performances have increased and with 29 caps to his name Cahill will no doubt be at the heart of Englands defence. Despite a lack of pace, Cahill regularly excels for Chelsea in the Champions League and his experience of regularly competing against Europes best will be vital for England.
