Granada fullback Guilherme Siqueira has
emerged as a potential replacement for Baines this summer. But the 27-year-old has also attracted a growing line of admirers that include some of the continent's biggest hitters, such as Real Madrid and Galatasaray, while Liverpool have since joined the race for the Brazilian. Granada consider Siqueira one of their best players and as such are demanding any potential buyers match the player's £21 million release clause. That demand could end up pricing the Toffee's out of a move, though any fee they receive for Baines would cover the lion's share of that fee. Siqueira is known as a goal-scoring defender, like Baines, and has netted 12 in 70 appearances for Granada, including an audacious dinked penalty against Barcelona in La Liga back in March.
