Gareth Barry faces Eden Hazard in what could prove to be the pivotal battle of the game. Gareth Barry joined Everton on loan from Manchester City in a deadline day transfer, having been out of favour in Pellegrini's regime at Manchester City. Belgian Hazard on the other hand, looks to be a vital cog in the Chelsea attack. Gareth Barry is set to become one of Everton's most important players for the forthcoming season. The accomplished England international is known for his ability to read the game well and he'll need to rely on all the experience he has, it could come in handy up against Eden Hazard, whose trickery knows no bounds. Hazard is fast becoming known as one of the most exciting attacking talents in the European game. Hazard's technical ability has been described as 'mesmerizing' due to his unique technical ability. The goalscoring midfield man can affect a game in a variety of different ways without getting the plaudits he deserves. Gareth Barry will need to have an impressive debut if he's to consistently stifle Team of the Year attacker, Eden Hazard. If he can prevent Hazard from having an influence on the game, he could just take the sting out of Chelsea's tail.
