Every Current Premier League Club's Biggest Transfer Bust

2. West Ham - Jordan Hugill

As a general rule, West Ham hasn't always had the best luck when it comes to transfers.

A perfect example of this can be seen in the purchase of Jordan Hugill from Preston for a reported £10 million in 2017. West Ham fans had hoped that Hugill would prove to be the next Jamie Vardy, but then-manager David Moyes' lack of faith in the forward meant that he was restricted to just 22 minutes of game time in his lone Premier League season, leading many to question why Moyes had signed him in the first place.

Hugill has since shown his class on loan at QPR, but it remains to be seen whether he will ever get the opportunity to prove himself in the top flight of English football.
