Manager: Jose Mourinho

Points: 91

Other Honours: Community Shield

Following an incredible debut campaign (more on that later), Mourinho retained the Premier league crown for the Blues, even if they weren't quiet as dominant as they were the previous season.

The Chelsea side between 2004-07 have often been described as one of, if the not the hardest team to beat, in the English football history. Only one defeat prior to February, just 22 goals conceded, 29 wins in total.

A back-line including Petr Cech, William Gallas and the arguably the best captain in the League's history, John Terry. A powerful midfield made up of top-scorer Lampard, Joe Cole, Arjen Robben, Michael Essien and Claude Makelele. Drogba and Hernan Crespo up top.

The best Chelsea team ever? In terms of players, maybe. In terms of results? Not quite.
