Fantasy Football Tips: 5 Transfers You Must Make In Gameweek 32

1. Vito Mannone

Team: Sunderland Position: Goalkeeper Value: £4.5m Selected by: 8.8% Total score: 100 Points from last 4 games: 17 (4.25 ppg) Next 4 fixtures: West Ham United (H), Tottenham Hotspur (A), Everton (H), Manchester City (A) Vito Mannone's value to points is perfect. Let's take a look at the four most important stats for comparison: Points-per-game (ppg): 5.2 (1st) Mannone has the highest ppg among all the goalkeepers in the league, even more than Chelsea's Petr Cech (£6.3m) and Arsenal's Wojciech Szcz™sny (£6.0m). And, check this, nobody in the Top 19 have a lower price point than Mannone, with the exception of Costel Pantilimon (Manchester City, £4.1m), who only played 630 minutes this season. Form: 4.3 (3rd) As you can tell by the numbers, Mannone is in pretty fine form at the moment. Only Petr Cech and Joe Hart (Manchester City, £6.0m) are currently in better form than him. And yea, the price. The price difference is huge. No one in the Top 20 have both a lower price tag and better form. Value (form): 1.0 (2nd) Again, no one in the Top 20 has better value for form than Mannone. Joe Hart, who's in first place standing at 1.1 cost £1.5m more than him. Top goalkeeper Cech is languishing below with 0.7, yet cost £1.8m more than the Arsenal loanee. Total score: 99 (12th) It's not much of a secret that Mannone is in excellent form this season. I would vote the 26 year-old as the best goalkeeper this season. This talented custodian who will very likely represent Italy in a major tournament, perhaps even overtake Szcz™sny as Arsenal's No. 1 with his calm presence during the match compared to the latter's fiery temperament, have been one of the major reasons why Sunderland managed to keep 9 clean sheets in the 19 matches he starred in. That's slightly lower than a 50% conversion rate. That's an extremely big deal. It's unfortunate that Mannone didn't feature in the first couple of matches for the Black Cats, but his form since his return has been nothing short of phenomenal. Should he have played every match in this season, he'll definitely be the goalkeeper with the highest point right now.Right now I'm actually kind of surprised that despite that 50% conversion rate I was talking about earlier, his price is still hovering at £4.5m. It's crazy how he's putting in way better performances than the more renowned keepers, yet his price is way below theirs. Not that I'm complaining though. Only David Marshall (103) has made more saves than Mannone (80), but the former played 11 matches more than him. If the above doesn't convince you that he really needs to be in your team, I don't know what will. This guy is like, the must-have player in everybody's team right now. Get rid of your Cechs, Harts and Szcz™snys. He is the one. Use the extra cash you earned from the smartest decision you've made (aided by me) and upgrade some of your other players. It's amazing how much £1m can do, trust me. You really need to get this guy.
