Fantasy Premier League Tips: 10 Best Pound For Points Strikers

7. Manolo Gabbiadini - £7m

Italian forward Manolo Gabbiadini made a great start to life at Southampton. Signing from Napoli in the January transfer window, he became the only player to ever score in each of his first four matches for the club, and was awarded February's PFA Fans' Player Of The Month award.

A groin injury slowed his progress, but Gabbidiani still finished with four goals from eight games' worth of Premier League minutes, and should be the focal point of the club's attacks this year. Spread last season's goalscoring ratio out across a full campaign, and he'd have finished with 19 goals - more than Zlatan Ibrahmovic, Jermain Defoe, and Christian Benteke. There's no guarantee he'll continue these exploits, of course, but the numbers are encouraging.

Gabbiadini will set you back just £7m in Fantasy. Considering bench-warmers like Lucas Perez, Daniel Sturridge, and Vincent Janssen are all valued higher, this is a crazy price. The only thing that could hinder his progress is a sudden resurgence from Charlie Austin or a big name signing's arrival, but given Gabbiadini cost Southampton £15m just six months ago, displacing him seems unlikely.
