First team goalkeepers are usually priced the same, with only Courtois, Cech, Hart and de Gea earning a value above £5m. Of the crop immediately below them, the best bet could well be West Ham's Adrian. The Hammers are primed for a breakout season (if Slaven Bilic can capitalise on the potential of his squad) and could well concede less than their 47 leaked goals last season - a figure smaller than Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur. Adrian, for his part, looks a very capable keeper with a solid defence in front of him. Alternative acquisitions include Lukasz Fabianski of Swansea and Everton's Tim Howard, but the Irons goalie will outstrip the opposition if everything clicks as it should at Upton Park.
