Fantasy Premier League Tips: 15 Best Point-Scoring Midfielders For 2017/18
3. Aaron Mooy
Club: Huddersfield
Cost: £5.5m
Is investing in someone whose side will definitely be among the favourites to be relegated for a good slice of the season sensible? Not necessarily, but Aaron Mooy is as key to Huddersfield's creative play as Anthony Knockaert is to Brighton and Gylfi Sigurdsson is to Swansea.
Last season he scored 4 goals and added 7 assists to that, but it's his chance creation stats that really impress. He created 98 chances in total, almost doubling the next highest haul from Kachunga (who managed 56), and he's very much the driving force of that team.
There's no way David Wagner will give up on his agenda to play good attacking football (he would be crazy to, to be quite frank) and that means Mooy should get more of the ball and even more opportunity to create chances. With investment in their forward options, that should also mean better quality to convert some of those chances into delicious assist points.
