Formula 1 2013 British Grand Prix – Rosberg Wins Scintillating Scrap In Silverstone Sunshine
Looking Ahead With just a week till the German Grand Prix from the Nurburgring, theres little time for Formula 1 to catch its breath after having it taken away in Britain. Teams will be challenged by the fantastic, renowned track, even if they arent running the full-length track. Another classic track that offers proper racing, the Nurburgring has been the scene of some awesome memories, such as Mark Webbers first victory. After this weekend, Ferrari and Alonso will be working their hardest to make sure the points flow back in their favour again to reel in title-leader Vettel after taking a clean 15 points off him in Britain. Furthermore, they will be seeking a good team result to take the constructors battle back to Mercedes after having been overtaken in the pursuit of Red Bull. Mercedes themselves will be looking to take victory at their home race, and after their dominant pace at Silverstone in both qualifying and the race it certainly looks possible, and they will want to put both cars at the front after only managing single-car results after bad luck so far. Red Bull will want to get back on top, especially Sebastian Vettel after his first DNF of the year, while Mark Webber will want to enjoy his final German Grand Prix. Force India will want to excel and continue to extend their lead over McLaren with a good two-car points finish, as McLaren work to take any points at all right now with their woeful car. Lotus will need to take it back to the front after recovering some of their form in the UK, while Torro Rosso will seek to continue their good form as their drivers battle to show each themselves in earnest in hope of securing the vacant seat at Red Bull for 2014. Sauber and Williams will be doing their utmost to get into contact with the midfield and points, and likely will hope for a Nurburgring downpour. If it delivers in the way that Silverstone just did, it will be an absolute treat.
