Williamson was confident and composed throughout the first half. The decision to distribute the ball to the fullbacks rather than the centre backs seemed to put the 31-year-old at ease as he wasn't required to do much with the ball at his feet. Marking wise him and Lascelles formed a safe partnership that look fairly sturdy. 10. Curtis Good: 6/10
Good was solid if unspectacular for the Magpies. He still showed signs of match rustiness, and it will take time to get back to fitness. Will not trouble the first team going forward.
