As things stand, unless John Eustace puts pen to paper on a contract with the club, Lee Wallace will become captain for the 2015-2016 season. Over the past few years, the left back has been vice captain of the side, subbing in as the armband wearer when Lee McCulloch was either injured or suspended.

Signed in the Summer of 2011 for the sum of £1.5 million from Hearts, there were many 'True Blue' fans excited to see what the hot young Scottish prospect could do when given the chance at Ibrox. Having burst into the Scottish national team due to his performances at Heart Of Midlothian, it seemed Wallace would only push on at Rangers.

Agreeing to transfer over his contract during the whole mess going down in 2012, the player instantly became a favourite amongst the supporters attending matches, and did look far too strong and talented for players in the lower divisions in Scotland. Still at Rangers, the man was criticised for his performances in the Championship, meaning he might need a big year over the next 12 months to secure his first team spot.
