Having previously played for Aberdeen in the Scottish game, Sone Aluko was a talented winger/attacking midfielder who - on his day - could be pretty hard for defenders to stop. Twisting and weaving his way through the midst of his opponents, Aluko was incredibly popular during his short stay at Rangers between November, 2011 and the Summer of 2012.

As a free agent, Aluko was able to join Rangers even when the transfer window was shut, but Aberdeen argued that this was unfair. After a lengthy legal battle, Sone was able to pull on the infamous blue of the Gers and immediately made an impact.

With that said, he wasn't too excited by the idea of moving his contract over, much like many other players. Departing Rangers only 7/8 months after his arrival, Aluko would later sign with Hull City, where he has been ever since. During his short tenure, the player was exciting, and fans at Ibrox lapped up his bold displays.
