Generally speaking, it's hard to find players down throughout the history of the club that Rangers fans genuinely dislike as people, but Kyle Lafferty was not a favourite with many. Despite the fact he scored several vital goals that effectively secured league titles for the Ibrox club, Lafferty was a bit of a blow hard, not to mention arrogant, and that didn't sit well.

It's long been rumoured that Celtic were in the hunt for the Northern Irish international before he signed for Rangers, but it was with the blue side that the striker ended up, signing for approximately £3 million from Burnley in 2008. Struggling to oust the likes of Kris Boyd from the first team picture, Lafferty was instead mainly posted out on the left wing, where he didn't really have much impact, more often than not.

Yet another player to knock back the concept of Rangers in the Third Division, the beanpole forward joined FC Sion in Switzerland, before having a spell at Palermo in Italy's Serie B. Now, he plays for Norwich City, but spent the last few months of last season out on loan in Turkey with Caykur Rizespor.
