Goodness knows what the tenacious midfielder is up to these days, he's gone completely off the radar. One thing that can be sure is that it won't be within the realms of football as Batty is well known to have hated the game, only pursuing a career in it for the money. He told The Guardian: "The national game is boring. And I've not been to watch any match since I finished playing. "I can never understand anybody paying to watch it, never mind going all the way across the world to see it. You want to be entertained."
