3. Borini Is Not A Lost Cause (Though He Is Rusty)

I thought Fabio Borini did alright on his comeback. He didn't do anything wrong but he didn't do anything world class. When he got the ball he received it and passed it on. Quite often backwards but his movement seemed good and I like how he didn't hide despite feeling his way back into the routine in a hostile stadium. I thought his effort on goal was a good one and that he generated another option up front. Believe me I've watched every Liverpool game this season and seeing Liverpool strikers buzzing around a defence like flies around dung was so pleasing. He never stopped moving and added to the threat that Suarez and Sturridge were creating. Suddenly BR has an actual striker force that creates different options and can be a threat all the time rather than in patches.
