Liverpool are perhaps the club in the top eight with the best run of fixtures against the clubs around them. They have had a fairly horrific first half of the season in terms of fixtures, but somehow managed to hoist themselves to a European place in the league despite it. Away trips to Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Everton, Spurs and Newcastle before New Years Day was not a great list of fixtures, but with Liverpool taking five points from those games they managed to make it through with a decent points tally. Man United were the only team to visit Anfield from the top eight in the first half of the season and suffered a 1-0 defeat all the way back in September. So with all the big teams left to visit Anfield, it could all come down to the Reds home form. Southampton and the always eventful trip to Old Trafford are the only away games to teams within the top half of the table coming up for Liverpool, so where we have already seen half a season of terrific home form, it may be the opposite in the second half with their away form perhaps picking up. Either way, the Reds are surely going to have a big say on the outcome of this seasons Barclays Premier League. What do you think of Liverpool's title credentials?
