Liverpool: 7 Things You Should Know About Raheem Sterling's Agent Aidy Ward

7. Learnt His Trade Working Alongside Rob Segal

Ward began life as an agent working for Rob Segal€™s group, Impact Sports Management, a company that employed 10 agents.

And it is Segal, a well-respected figure within the industry, who after all, may well be the pseudo 'Devil in Disguise' behind the entire Sterling saga.

Segal, who took Ward under his wing at Impact, maintained a belief that "footballers who come through the ranks at English clubs never get the contracts they deserve" and that "players from overseas get more money and it makes no sense"

Segal's morals of English player-mistreatment in a financial sense appears to have spurred Ward on in his search for a lucrative summer move for client Sterling, having somewhat ludicrously claimed during the week that the 20-year old wouldn't renew his contract at Liverpool "for 700, 800 or even £900,000-a-week", which in reality, is utter lunacy.
