Liverpool Dream XI To Win The Premier League 2014/15
11. Alberto Moreno - Left-Back
Left-back has been an area of the pitch that Liverpool have lacked quality in ever since John Arne Riise left Anfield in 2008, with the likes of Fabio Aurelio, Paul Konchesky and Jose Enrique have all trying, and failing, to fill that void in the six years since. The Norwegian offered quality going forward, consistency in defence and a wand of a left foot. It looks as they though they have finally found his replacement in Moreno. The 22-year-old is widely seen as one of the most talented young full-backs in European football, and he is at an age where he is only going to improve. He is lightning fast, creative going forward and has a good positional sense. He could be a real star for the Reds, and cost almost a third of what Luke Shaw cost Manchester United. His £12m move Sevilla was completed over the weekend, and although there is the risk he may be lacking match sharpness, he should go straight into the side to face City at the expense of the out-of-sorts Glen Johnson.
