Liverpool Transfers: 10 Best Ever Bargains

3. Luis Suarez

The Uruguayian moved from Ajax to Liverpool in 2011 for £22M and what a signing he turned out to be: he scored on his debut against Stoke and hit the ground running. He put the fear of God into every defender in the Premier League, skipping past them and often making them look daft with his nutmegs. He also had a serious eye for goal, finishing on 69 league goals during his time on Merseyside from just 110 appearances. Suarez was key to Liverpool almost winning the title during the 2013/14 season, finishing as the Premier League top scorer with 31 goals. He also aided Liverpool to League Cup triumph in 2012 and almost won the FA Cup that same year when the Reds were beaten finalists. His goals came from all sorts of areas - 40 yard screamers against Fulham, free kicks against Manchester City and tap ins against Everton. No matter what you say about his sometimes absurd actions, his ability puts him as one of Liverpool's greatest players and a bargain signing. Suarez left this summer for £75M to Barcelona, however his performances on Anfield will never be forgotten.
