9. Stefan De Vrij
Defence should definitely be an area Rodgers tries to srengthen in the Summer, especially considering the impending retirement of Jamie Carragher and the potential loss of the out-of-form Martin Skrtel. One player who has reportedly grabbed the attention of Brendan Rodgers is
Feyenoord's Stefan De Vrij. Aged 21, De Vrij has already been named as Feyenoord captain, and has played a crucial role in his club's title push this season. Rodgers has been to see De Vrij play in person this year and is apparently a big fan of the Dutch man. His leadership qualities are already evident and he could be seen as a potential long term replacement for Jamie Carragher. Valued at around £8 million, De Vrij is certainly within Liverpool's price range. He also apparently has a agreement in his contract that says he will be allowed to leave Feyenoord if a bigger club try to sign him, so a move could be on the cards for the Summer.
