The prolific Dutch striker has bagged 40 in 67 league appearances for his current team Schalke in Germany, and is generally recognised as one of Europe's top strikers. However, with Schalke apparently
in the market for a new striker, an unlikely move away from the Germans might become appealing before long for the former Real Madrid frontman. The 29-year-old striker has
expressed an interest in playing in the Premier League this summer, and he would be an equal, if not better goalscorer than Suarez, if his international and domestic scoring statistics can be continued. Huntelaar made headlines in 2011-12 by
becoming the first ever Dutchman to win the "kicker Torjägerkanone" in the Bundesliga, scoring a mind-boggling 29 goals from 34 appearances in the process. Nevertheless, it is a stretch to see Schalke parting with "The Hunter" for anything less than an arm and a leg, and even the Suarez money might not be enough to secure his services.
