Liverpool Transfers: 10 Summer Signings Rodgers Must Make

Attack

Brendan Rodgers made this area a much needed priority in January and with the capture of Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho he now has a more balanced squad. With Sturridge missing Monday night€™s match due to injury, it was already evident to see that, after six games for the club he was already missed and extra reinforcements are required.

7. Hatem Ben Arfa, Winger, Newcastle United

This exciting French winger has gone from strength-to-strength for the Toon Army and he has recently raised alarm bells by stating his desire to play for French big-spenders Paris Saint-Germain. But if they fail to show interest, Liverpool may be ready to swoop as they will be looking for more support to build around the budding partnership of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge. Ben Arfa€™s pace and flair could help unlock the tightest Premiership defences. A deal could be done with Andy Carroll used as bait.

8. Michu, Forward, Swansea City

Michu has a great mixture of good feet for a big man, with great composure and more importantly he knows where the back of the net is. He has proved he would fit perfectly into Liverpool€™s style of play, as well as giving Rodgers an alternative option.
