3. Neil Taylor
Perhaps a more viable option given Bertrand's apparent loyalty to Chelsea is Swansea City's Neil Taylor. Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers plucked the Wales international from obscurity in 2010 after signing him from Conference outfit Wrexham, and since then the 24-year-old has gone on to become one of the Swans' key players, making 36 appearances in 2011/12, though last season he was blighted by injury and only featured 6 times after breaking his ankle last September.
A Liverpool fan, Taylor could be tempted by the prospect of reuniting with Rodgers at Anfield, though is contracted at the Liberty Stadium
until 2016. However, having lost his position at left-back to Ben Davies during his lengthy absence on the sidelines last season, Taylor could find he no longer fits into manager Michael Laudrup's plans next season.
