Liverpool Transfers: 5 Left-Wingers Brendan Rodgers Must Buy

1. Tom Ince

tom ince Liverpool were handed a massive boost in re-signing the Blackpool youngster this month when it was revealed the 21-year-old would not be joining newly-promoted Premier League side Cardiff City. The Bluebirds had seen their £8 million offer plus add-ons accepted by the Seasiders, seemingly putting Liverpool out of the picture, but the Reds could yet re-sign the star now that he has declined the offer of a move to Wales. Ince began his playing career as a youth for Liverpool in 2008 but failed to break his way through to the senior set-up and, after spending a spell on loan with Notts County, was sold to Blackpool in 2011. Since then the winger has gone on to establish himself as one of England's best young players and last season was named The Football League Young Player of the Year and was also listed in the PFA Championship Team of the Year. The starlet scored an impressive 18 league goals in 44 appearances and a number of impressive performances has helped put him back on Liverpool's radar. Ince was allowed to leave Anfield just as Kenny Dalglish was beginning his second stint in charge, but Rodgers may well be keen to bring him back to Merseyside off the back of his superb season in the Championship.
