1. Christian Eriksen

Liverpool were handed a massive boost in their pursuit of the Ajax midfielder today when it was reported Christian Eriksen would
"likely sign for Liverpool or Roma". Eriksen is a long-term target for Liverpool and is considered one of the most exciting young players in European football. The 21-year-old's 10 goals in 33 appearances last season inspired Ajax to their third-successive Eredivisise crown. And if he does move on this summer, Anfield is one of his preferred destinations, which is fantastic news for Rodgers, who recently missed out on Henrikh Mkhitaryan to last season's Champions League finalists Borussia Dortmund. Rodgers is looking to infuse his squad with fresh, young attacking talent, and has already landed some of Europe's brightest youngsters, such as Daniel Sturridge from Chelsea. The attacking midfielder could even become the long-term successor to the legendary Steven Gerrard and is considered one of the finest young players in his position at present.
Which big-name signings do you want Brendan Rodgers to make this summer? Let us know in the comment section, below.
