2. Christian Benteke
The Aston Villa forward stunned his club this week after he handed in a transfer request, putting the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal
on alert. There has also been interest from the continent in the 22-year-old, with Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid and AC Milan monitoring the situation. Given the uncertainty surrounding Luis Suarez, the Reds could soon have a gaping hole left in their attack force and if the unsettled Uruguay international does leave, Benteke would be a fantastic replacement. The Belgian international was the fourth-highest goalscorer in the Premier League last season with 19 strikes and was only outgunned by Gareth Bale, Suarez and Robin van Persie. A young and confident striker who has already proven himself in England's topflight, Benteke would be a marvellous acquisition if Brendan Rodgers could temp him to swap the Midlands for Merseyside.
