Liverpool Transfers - 5 More Strikers Reds Must Consider
4. Mario Balotelli
Mario Balotelli could be set for an astonishing return to the Premier League this summer after his club AC Milan put him up for sale for just £14 million. The madcap Italian spent three seasons in England with Manchester City but left for Italy in 2013. And now, Balotelli is thought to be among Brendan Rodgers's list of transfer targets as he looks to fill the void left by Luis Suarez. According to reports, Milan are open to offers for the striker, and have slashed their asking price as they look to free up funds for a mega-money move for Jackson Martinez. £14 million would represent a steal where Liverpool are concerned considering Balotelli has previous Premier League experience, scoring 30 goals in 80 total appearances for Man City. And though many may point to the Italian's notoriety and infamous record for past bad behaviour, Milan's asking price would still represent good value for money even if it didn't work out.
